This story brought me all the warm fuzzies. It was exactly what I needed. I love that there wasn't a lot of angst between the couple and they were each other's support system through real life things.

This was a quick read but unfortunately nothing really stood out about it for me. I don’t know if part of the problem was that I had recently read Stud Muffin, which I really enjoyed, and I couldn’t help but compare the two, or if I just didn’t gel with this book as much as I wanted to.
I had a very hard time connecting with either of the characters in this story and I didn’t believe in their attraction or feelings. I just really wish that the relationship was developed more. It felt extremely rushed and insta-lovey.
While the last couple of Smartypants Romance releases haven’t been my favorite, I’m looking forward to what they bring in the future.
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

I think this was my favorite book of the series. I loved both Finley and Zeke. I loved watching them find something wonderful in each other.
Gram-bea and the other Golden Gals were a fabulous bonus in this book!

Couldn't finish it. I read more than half, so have it a valiant effort. Just not interested in the characters or story, and found the language off-putting and cringe-worthy throughout. The audiobook is especially terrible. Sounds like the reader is just trying to get through it. Maybe if I had read the words, it'd be 2 stars.

It wasn't completely terrible and I did like how the author included a diverse lead hero but nevertheless it was still mediocre at best and I wasn't completely won over. With that being said, I'm not sure if it's just me or not but the smartypants romances just weren't cutting it and it's become more than a struggle to find anything remotely likable about them. Is it just me or…?
The set-up for this book - a heroine who comes home to find her husband cheating on her - sounded eerily similar to Stud Muffin, Donner Bakery #2, but that's where the similarity ended.
Finley comes home early to find out her husband is actually gay and was cheating on her with her personal trainer so after she kicks them out, she heads back to Green Valley to stay with her Grambea, great aunt and godmother in a lovely Golden Girls situation. Zeke, the mysterious secret-billionaire's son is her love interest and it was a cute story. It was low angst, and low conflict - the foiled kidnapping attempt seemed a rather hasty attempt to bring things to a close with the added benefit of comic relief brought on by a trio of fierce Golden Girls.
Having worked wth a PT, I had to side-eye Finley's unrealistic progress of losing 30 lbs after training for 3 mos.

A wonderful book about thwarting your own expectations and loving life. Zeke and Finley were an amazing couple!
