SOOOOO many feels! Max, Rudy, Liesel, Hans, even Rosa were impactful and inspiring human beings. The only ones challenging Death's perception of humanity in this time period.

damn sad as expected. i enjoyed this and i thought having death as a narrator was interesting, but the way death’s thoughts were inserted structurally (bold, different fonts, “things you should know,” etc.) bothered me a bit
