The pacing of this book for me was great because I could not put this thing down. I think I read it in a little over 1 day, and not on a weekend either. I enjoyed all of the
time travel
elements, although I'd have to really go back and look at all of the references and rules to make sure it all makes sense in my head and that nothing is amiss for me. Even so, it had a lot of qualities I really enjoy, and I liked the writing style as well. I was going to say 3.5 stars, but I think I've bumped my rating up to 4 while writing this review.

It might change with time, but for now, I recommend it for a quick, mysterious read, with a nice romance and atmospheric writing.

After her grandmother dies, June Farrow is plagued by visions of random events: a man smoking, a red barn, a horse. She fears she's going crazy -- just like her grandmother and mother. She wishes she could get gain comfort from her grandmother, but the only thing she has to remember her by is a mysterious locket.  That's until she gets a postcard in the mail. In it, is a picture of June as an infant and her parents. The problem? It's dated 1926.
