Reread with paperback and audiobook for Fae Guardian Readalong leading up to AWORAR:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/6.
🌶️🌶️/5.

Thorne was a tough nut to crack. Since he was a pup , he never had a choice so he kept building this rage inside of him hence the grumpy and douche behavior. He needed someone that would put him in his place and to show him that living like he was wasn’t living at all.
He never knew happiness until he felt it through Laurel and that tugged at my heartstrings.
He was an a$$ sometimes but he also had his moments.
Laurel was the type who won’t take BS from anyone and she dances to her own tune but whenever comes the time for her to be down to earth, she doesn’t unapologetically.
Thorne was a mess but he learned his lesson by the end and I loved seeing it.
I’m excited to continue my reread!

4.5/5 stars.

I’m really loving this series. Can’t wait to listen and read the next one!

Thorne, Rush’s son, is looking for his mentor, Jasper who has been missing for 10 years. He only takes in Laurel, his Well-blessed mate because Clarke has told him Laurel is the key to finding Jasper. Laurel slowly breaks down Thorne’s defences.
I love Lana’s world and writing. The only reason this score is lower than Book 1 is I found Laurel a little annoying and not endearing like Clarke. I like that you get a complete story in each book but you have the prompt for the next story and an underlying thread that links each book.

This is book 2 of the Fae Guardians series and I am really liking it! The world building is so easy to follow and I love that each book is a couple’s story! I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as I liked the first one but that being said, it was still a good read.

I loved Thorne and seeing him bond with Rush and play with his little sister was the sweetest

I liked book two as well. Loved the trauma they dealt with. I did not like the narration to much. I think this was a personal preference and how certain noises or sound get to me. Take that for what it’s worth. I’ve heard the female narrator before in another audiobook and remembered it

I liked the plot really but Thorne might be the most whining infuriating male character I have read so far. Ok I get it he had bad childhood but I felt like he was having temper tantrums like a 2 year old all throughout the book. Seriously dude, seriously...
