5 stars in the sky to Laurel and Thorne

I absolutely loved every inch of Thorne and Laurel’s story. This was such an amazing enemies to lovers with close proximity, I didn’t want it to end!

The way the author has built this world has taken me by such surprise. I’ve never been one to like dystopia based books, but she has created a world that I’m so intrigued to imagine and visualize.

If you haven’t read this series, do yourself a favor this year and add it to the TBR you plan on reading.

I love this world and Rush and Thorne, the dynamic between the Fae and the Humans that have essentially time traveled is one of my favorites. We follow Thorne and his Well-Blessed mate in this book (Lauren) as they continue the hunt for Thorne's mentor Jasper. Enemies to Lover, and "forced" marriage are the main tropes in this book, you get continued world building and tension is building between the guardians and the Seelie King.

Still amazing! But took off a star because Thorne pissed me off a LOT and I wish Laurel would have held onto her anger against him longer. And I prefer when the book timeline is longer than a week.

These books are a guilty pleasure of mine. I love the world building and the adventure it takes us on. I love the slow burn. The only complaint I have, is I wish the side characters got more development. I feel like maybe there are too many so they all just get brushed over, but I really wish a handful of them got more attention. I believe they would add so much to the story and if done right would bump this up to a 5 star.
Now what to do until the third and final book comes out in February

Oh my heart! Such a tortured and sad soul that of course I immediately fell in love with! As much as I enjoy all the books of this series, I think this one might be my favorite! Thorne has such growth in this novel and I see several more guardians that I would love to have their own books as well!

I loved the first book. This one was...ok. Honestly they both got on my nerves. It was a good addition to the story, but they both needed a kick in the pants. Can’t wait for Ada’s book and to see more of the story.
