Another fun read from Peters. I've been in a book-reading funk for a while and this was a great refreshing. Even the foreword had me in stitches.

Like usual, I listened to this in audiobook with Susan O'Malley as the narrator. She gives such great life to the characters and the story, especially to the new character, Ramses. I loved Ramses, he took the precocious kid character and took it to eleven. I'm not gonna lie, I stopped caring about the mystery about halfway because I was having so much fun trying to keep up with his mischief. I'm sure some people had issues with him but considering he's Mini Amelia with Emerson's look, I don't understand why.

I give this one 4.5 stars because the mystery part didn't quite come together for me like the past ones have. That said, I'm still continuing with the series.

TW: Death, blood, assault, mentions of police brutality, xenophobia, some fatphobia comments and religious missionaries, anti-muslim remarks.
