This is a book for people who love happy endings and Hallmark movies! But there are a lot of heartaches and obstacles before they find the resolution. Told from the point of view of 3 of the 4 women who are determined to save their beloved camp, we get the story mostly through the eyes of Daphne, who grew up with the help of so many, but not really her parents. Her aunt June owns the camp now, but is suffering with her own heartaches, and the other narrator is Daphne’s best friend Lanier, who’s been with her through thick and thin. Along with their other friend, Mary Stuart, the the friends and Aunt June try everything to raise enough money to keep camp open. Maybe the guys in their life will help them out (but there’s big drama in that area)!
Moderate: Sexual content, Addiction, Car accident, Drug abuse, and Alcohol
Minor: Pandemic/Epidemic
