My bookstore features in this delicious plot, so I'm extremely biased, but I loved every second of this sweet book. Kristy Woodson Harvey is *the* voice of Southern romance, and I especially delight in how she chooses to feature characters in her novels who've come to parenthood in non-traditional ways. Harvey is an incredibly creative writer, whose characters and their relationships are so easy to care for and identify with; the characters in Songbirds are no exception, and I can't wait to sell out of this book over and over again this summer.

Honestly more romance than I thought the book was gonna have. Wished there was a bit more dialogue with the friends and their experience. A lot of chapters were just long winded thoughts that were repeated throughout the book.

Would honestly be a pretty good movie like short and heartfelt. Just was not really into the romances or was I into the friends not communicating enough.
