3/5 ⭐️: smart and suspenseful. Anisa is a Pakistani translator, who works subtitling Bollywood movies. That’s until her boyfriend introduces her to a cult-like and highly secretive organisation called The Centre, where people can become fluent in any language…for a price. The story is full of mystery- what’s behind The Centre’s success, and what really goes on there? I was surprised by the big reveal, but I expected something more complex? Regardless, this was a unique read!
