This is a book I think I would have loved a lot better if I read it instead of listening to the audio book. I had a hard time with the actors voice. But its a good read for a dark winter night. Filled with snowed in skiers and creepy monsters.

If you like Until Dawn, you'll love The Shuddering. It's tense, perfectly paced and packed with well-rounded, believable characters.

Story was overall fine, tone was extremely flowery and excessive, lots and lots of useless descriptions of un-needed details.

The Shuddering is a delightfully fun horror novel. Though it may not be packed with twists, the shocking outcomes still leave an impact. Reading this book is akin to watching a thrilling movie, which adds to the enjoyment.
