Didn’t expect that

What a weirdly enchanting book! Did not see that twist coming. Can’t wait to read more..also excited to read about other characters mentioned. No spoilers !

It was obvious what the twist was going to be and there were some plot holes that bothered me

Nyla K is slowly making her way up my favourite author list. After first having read For the Fans and not really enjoying it, I’m glad I gave her other books a chance.

Distorted is a book that messes with your brain. It’s twisty, DARK, fucked up and somehow still manages to be hopelessly romantic.

The final 1/3 of the book went downhill and I sadly couldn’t really get back into it. But the first 2/3 were amazing, and I’m certainly looking forward to see where Nyla takes the series!

IDK how to rate this book, I felt so many things while reading it and not all of them were good, but I couldn't put this book down! I guessed the plot twist and then spoiled myself in order to see if I was correct and I'm happy that I did it, because if not I probably would've DNF it, even then I had to skip some scenes...

I really liked the prison setting which was unexpected and I'm actually excited to keep reading the series. I do wish that the ending was a little more developed, but I liked that, even though there was a HEA, the ending was left a little open.

3.5 ⭐️

I enjoyed this book. I did guess at the twist, but it didn’t take away from the experience. I really liked Dash. I wasn’t sure I would at first, but I definitely grew to love him. My only complaint (and the reason it wasn’t a 4 ⭐️ book) would be the length of the book. Especially since 80% of the book was s3x. Now don’t get me wrong it was some dang good smut! But after so long I started to want more plot and less smut. The other books in the series are even more lengthy which makes me hesitant to start them, but I am SOOO curious about the other characters’ stories!!

This book made me feel fucking insane I was so fucking invested in Callum Kemper and Dash and then puff he’s not real?!?!?! I mean Kellan Kemper is still kinda scary with the whole stalker thing but fuck he really made Callum up in his head and I see it now all the little signs of him not being real. But at first I really thought maybe I had gone insane and imagined the first like 70% of this book lmao! Just Jesus that was insanely good writing and I haven’t had a plot twist hit me that hard in a long time! I only wish I wasn’t so fucking confused 3/4 through a book I thought was going a completely separate way lol!
