this book was easy to get through and kept me entertained. the premise was interesting and i liked that the authors shed a light on gender differences in the workplace.
however i had a really hard time liking the characters. i found both carter and evie to be pretty annoying and also kind of overdramatic. carter especially i felt like would get upset over very small things.
i also think the resolution came very quickly and out of the blue. overall the book was okay, but i won’t read again.

I was so excited for this book. I like the MCS and dual-POVs are my jam. But sexism in the workplace is super cringy to me and I get super uncomfortable reading it.
And I hate when the male interest can recognize sexism and can't/won't do anything about it... or fails when he tries.

The romance was just not there for me. It seemed to be very nonexistent, to be honest. The whole relationship is surrounded at their jobs and we hardly get to see them outside of work-mode. I did enjoy the little prank-war the two had started and wished we had gotten more shenanigans.
