After finishing The Mandevilles' Marvelous Marvels, I couldn’t wait for this sequel. And the magic continues to enchant with this one! I’m already itching for the next one!
This flows just as easily as the first one. Captivating me from the start. I love following this traveling circus. And while we see the same familiar faces, we meet a few new ones both good and bad.
As well as getting to see a little more magic, but nothing over the top. And while I was hoping for more at the end of the last one, I am happy with it being a bit more subdued on the magic side. I found the magic we see to be very tasteful additions to this story. While yes, it’s there, it’s not the focus of our story. Our focus being the circus and it's very much enchanting! These magical elements just make it even more so.
And I don’t want to spoil anything but the one major hope I had for this sequel and our main character happened. And I couldn’t have been happier!! I’m so freaking happy about it! I literally squealed and I can’t wait to see how things continue to play out for her in the next one!
Overall, I absolutely adore this traveling circus and can’t wait for the next book! I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys urban fantasies especially set around a circus!

Kaleidoscope Kyte's is the sequel to The Mandevilles' Marvelous Marvels and it was the perfect continuation of Janie's story. It picks up right after the events of the first book and we learn pretty quickly that things are not going to be easy for Janie or the Circus troupe. In the first book we saw Janie, Andrew and Zeke all auditioning for a role within the circus but this book really challenges their places.
Once again, I found myself conflicted with Reginald Mandeville (the owner of the circus). His actions are very volatile and I want to know more of his story. One of my favourite things from the first book, was the detail with which the circus performances were described and that was still here for Kaleidoscope Kyte's....although everything was a little bit more daring!
This is a perfect series if you are looking for a lighter read, that is circus themed.

Thank you to the author for sending me the ebook in exchange for an honest review! This is the sequel to The Mandeville’s marvelous marvels, which I loved.
I really enjoyed the unexpected plotline of the first book and was surprised once again by this plotline! I’d never read about a circus before, but the Mandeville’s Marvelous Marvels isn’t just a circus. The performers in the circus need to watch out for their boss because he has a secret agenda, but they found a family in the other performers and together they will stand their ground!
I loved this sequel very much! The storyline was even more intriguing than the first book and I can’t wait to see more of these characters and in what dangers mr. Mandeville will put them next!
If you want an exciting book about a circus, found family and love, be sure to check this out

A Magical Adventure Series!
In this sequel to Miller’s “Mandeville’s Marvelous Marvels” the circus troupe led by Reg and Caroline has now moved on from the disastrous ending of their show by the sea in Merdwick. They’re now headed to a totally new and quite different location in the snowy mountains to a retreat run by creepy Mr. Kyte.
There is just as much drama and action in book two as their was in the first one. You really get attached to the troupe and especially Janie and Andrew. I loved the new location and added characters in this one and the magical realism that is woven throughout the story! Can’t wait to see what sort of adventure they get up to in the next book especially after that exciting conclusion!
