my general consensus is that it was a pretty slow and predicitable read. all of my predictions were right and weren't hard to come to. i would have liked for there to be more twists, or at least ones that couldn't be seen from a mile away. the writing itself was boring and the pace was slower than i would have liked. i wanted to like it and i was rooting for the characters at times, but it left me feeling wanting as everything was just so predictable. just not really anything to write home about.
