Jammed packed full of sports stories that range from football to baseball all the way to lacrosse and roller derby. There is a taste for everyone especially since the stories also range from spicy to sweet. I dare you to find something you don't like since this anthology has such a diverse offering.

A few of my favorites are:

Always Looking to Score by Coralee June and Carrie Gray - Dale and Shelby made me smile through this entire short story. Dale is normally confident with a capital C, but Shelby makes him work for his swagger as she uses his masculine form for her art project. The whole vision for this project was amazing and made me giggle while swooning!

The Midfielder's Defensemen by Elle Joraco - Ryan Kelfield joins a new co-ed lacrosse team and is excited for the transition from an all girls team at her new school. Although when she gets to school she discovers the co-edness of the team is all on her part as the only woman. While not everyone is welcoming, most of her teammates are and a few are might even be looking for something more than being just a teammate on the field.

Some stories are complete games while others are just season openers with the longer game to come later, but have no doubt you'll enjoy this anthology no matter what story you read.

There is a little bit of everything in this anthology and it's for a fantastic cause!
From sweet, to PNR, to hilarious; these little snippets have definitely piqued my interest in some new to me authors.

Wow I loved everyone of these short stories, I didn't want them to end. All 23 authors did an amazing job creating these short sports love stories. This is a must read!

This anthology not only was put together for a good cause, but it is filled with wonderful stories from some new to me authors, and some favorite authors. I love getting a glimpse at new me authors through these kinds of books. I have found some of my favorite authors through anthologies. Even if the stories are short and sweet, they are all beautifully written, plotted, and told. There is a story for everyone, and I found a few new authors I will be reading more of in the future. Each of these stories focuses on sports, and they run the gamut of every sport. They are all uniquely told with some collaborations that I hope to continue in the future.

This review is for Scoring her by CR Jane and Mila Young. This novella had me from the get go. Riley Lane had acquired an injury handing her a seat on the bench at her previous school. She couldn’t handle that so she switched schools after recovering from her injury. Knowing college was a back up plan to her in excelling in sports she had her eye on the prize. Little did she know the big man on campus would have his eyes on her. With him, came other problems. This novella ended right at a page turning cliff! I am beyond excited for this book. These two gave just enough to draw you in then leave you wanting more. Amazing. Must read!

I was particularly excited to check out this novella not only because there are new to me authors that I was looking forward to discovering but also because the anthology features a short story from Carrie Gray and Coralee June that takes place in the the Looking to Score world- and that is hands down one of my favorite books of the year. Not to mention, you get to know you are supporting a scholarship in honor of a young softball athlete lost too young.

There’s a lot to like in this anthology- mostly light and fun stories. EM Moore always delivers, and here she gives us a most welcome visit back to the Ballers world. I was also riveted by the CR Jane and Mila Young entry- quite an epic ending, and while these authors are new to me, I definitely want to pick up the rest of this story when it arrives. And, of course, Coralee and Carrie had me in riots of laughter in Always Looking to Score.

Always Looking to Score was just ridiculous in the best way possible- silly, light hearted, quirky, and outlandish….and with amazing chemistry and steam. We get to learn more about Amanda’s roommate, Shelby- and oh boy she is a character. Paired with Dale, Oakley’s teammate, in the most unusual of circumstances, she engages in some unusual and hilarious flirting. Clearly, Dale is a great sport on and off the field, and Shelby is sweet but oh so sassy. This story showcases the comedic talents of this dream team in such an original and highly memorable way. I live for their collaborations.

Grab up this anthology- meet some new friends while getting to do some good this holiday season!

Loved E.M. Moore’s short story about Lake. I love how she was able to take a character that we’ve despised and make us fall in love. I only wish there was more!

I loved all of the stories in this anyhoolgy, along with the reason this anthology exists in the first place! But my favorite by far is EM Moore’s, her writing always stands out to me and the way she weaves a story is truly amazing. I’ve been wanting to get a book in Lakes POV because I really wanted to see him when he was doing better, chasing his demons away. I really liked the 5 chapters we got, and I can just tell that Lake and Lucy have some magnetic chemistry! I think once she gets a handle on her life with the support of Lake it will be an amazing boon to read!

☞︎My review is specifically for Scoring Her by C.R. Jane and Mila Young.☜︎ I’m happy I was given the opportunity to read this beautiful small amount of chapters. These two women have written an amazing story. I know that they put their hearts into it, they always do!! I recommend you read it, it’s only a few chapters but it’s worth it!! This is for a fundraiser, help support the cause by buying the anthology. I told C.R.: I had three words for her and they were “I NEED MORE!” It’s worth the read, there’s some big-name contemporary authors in this anthology. ♡︎♥︎♡︎♥︎♡︎♥︎♡︎♥︎
The sexual tension between the two characters is amazing!!!
