(3.5) I went into this book with very high expectations and I'm sad to say those expectations weren't met. I read the first Patient Files book a month or so ago and I really loved it. It was a great read and when I heard about the second one I was dying to get my hands on it and I finally did. Now even though this book wasn't the best it definitely wasn't awful. I still really liked and if any other books by Dr.Harper come out I will be buying and reading them asap. I will still have some pretty high expectations of another book comes out so hopefully if that happens that book won't let me down.

Somewhat better than the first book, but again too much going on. Focus on telling one story instead of connecting a dozen of them together. Very ridiculous and out there. If this were a movie it would be one of those where everyone says “that would never happen” over and over again.

I think the writing got better with this one, and I had fun trying to figure out who matched with who from James' story. The connections are definitely more complex with this one, but flowed together better than the first one. Definitely a far-fetched series, but the cliff hanger at the end makes me want an ending, so onto book #3.
