Just filler for The Dark Tower series. Nothing really added by this story

I think what I liked about this story (a novella really) is that it shows the range SK has to work with in the Dark Tower world. It's definitely the closest to straight-up horror that he gets in all the DT work. It's good stuff though. If Roland is a character you like to follow, this book will be worth tracking down.

On the one hand, it's always nice to get some more from a universe you loved reading. On the other hand, I don't really feel like I got anything out of this story. Very dark and melancholic like the gunslinger book, which I did not like much, The Little Sisters of Eluria mainly feels like diving into a dream or an hallucination had by Roland on his journey to the Dark Tower. I did enjoy reading it more than I had the gunslinger since I am more connected to the story at this point, however, it fell kind of flat.

Piccolo spin off della Torre Nera.
