Another cute little mystery; I love the historical setting and information, but above all else I love these characters!
Graphic: Violence, Death, Child abuse, Kidnapping, Injury/Injury detail, Gun violence, and Murder
Moderate: Blood, Classism, Sexism, and Alcohol

Audiobook (All of my entries on The Story Graph are audiobooks.)
#2 in series (I read the first book in August 2020.)
Will I read other installments? Probably NotMaybe Definitely I put the series on my "Probably Not" shelf after book one, but I decided to give it another try. This series is well written and well performed. I like it, but only to a point. I listened to most of it at 1.2 speed and then cranked it to 1.4 just to get it done. Unless I have another change of heart, I probably won't continue.
The narrator was James Cameron Stewart. He has a great voice for this type of story.
