Language used is very much internet speak. I didn't like to be called spicy brained or bestie and have the casual swearing around all the time. It felt unnecessary. But those are just my pet peeves, because the book itself has amazing contents. It takes your hand and in a way that no other book on autism I have read made it clear for me how to start living life as being Neurodivergent. And yes, it was very chill and my brain didn't get overloaded with information and it was all very accessible for me.

I spent most of this book thinking 'oh my god....' because it some of the stories could have been written by myself

Not really sure what to do with this sorta revelation but there you go

I put this book down because it's an advice book for autistic people written by two people who aren't actually diagnosed as autistic and claim to be experienced with it based on the fact that they run a popular Instagram account. I'd rather get my advice from people who are actually diagnosed with autism.
