at first, I loved the quirky nature of the stories and how short they were. But after a while, I wanted an extended plot and I got tired of always having to start again (I mean seriously some of these stories were two pages long). Also, most of the stories were neither interesting nor satisfying. It would be like- Seamus once threw a pot of water out of his house and it angered the fairies. They threatened to torment him so this devilish satan worshiping woman  told him he boil pigs milk and the fairy would leave. He did, it did, and he told his whole village to hate the women forever because she was a witch. 😒 Also most of them are  translated verbatim from old Celtic or really intense English- Irish dialects, which makes me feel like I can’t speak English. There are not nearly enough definitions for words or different spellings of words, so I was confused on top of being bored.
