The books is the equivalent to the summer blockbuster movies. Lots of bangs and special effects, but not much substance.

Feels likes a hybrid of Dan Brown meets Indiana Jones. This is the second book in the series, but it already has the Sword of Truth series problem; being that it's the same book as the first one. A couple of different details, but just a repeat of his first book.

DNF.

Loaded with mystery, but nothing made me curious. Chock-full of action, but I was never excited. Threat and bloodshed aplenty, but it left me cold. Moves at full speed, but I didn't care where it was going. This is not for me. Exiting the Rollins train.

Although I didn't like Map of Bones as much as Sandstorm, I did enjoy this book. Definitely a fast-paced book.

Another awesome book from James Rollins. Super entertaining with awesome historical backdrops and high tech science and weaponry.

I love his use of really wild-sounding scientific stuff that turns out to be true. Not crazy about the contrived romances. I think he should just stick to the action!
