Type of read: Commuter (listened to and from work)
What made me pick it up: Anna Kendrick is one of my movie favorites.
Overall rating: Scrappy Little Nobody is a light-hearted, easy read. As with most celebrity books, I personally think the excitement and appeal is getting a glimpse into their daily lives. I enjoyed how she brought her perspective and personality (anxiousness and all) into the pages. There's nothing super heavy or impactful with this book, and I think that's alright. It was kind of like sitting down and binge-watching a TV show you already know by heart. You still laugh at the funny parts and enjoy seeing your favorite characters succeed, but you don't have to think too hard about it.

Anna Kendrick is a delight and her sense of humor rules this book. Definitely a good light read for anyone who's anyway from a casual to a rabid fan.

I'm a strong believer that comedic memoirs are best for fans of that comedian and Anna Kendrick's no exception. I feel like there is something for all fans of her in this.

Great book!! Already a big fan of Anna Kendrick, and now even more so after having read her book! It's funny, insightful, and fun! Loved it!
