I do ABHORRRRRRR the insta-love/insta-attraction trope, like you BARELY know this guy's name and you're already jumping his bones? Stranger danger???????? HELLO???? I'm going to give Diana Quincy's other series a try but if that one doesn't do it for me I fear she is not the author for me.

I didn't care about any of the characters. The FMC's stepdaughter was nothing more than a trope, and the MMC was devoid of personality.

Leela and Hunt’s story goes from hot to cold to warm to hot again. At one point, I wanted off the will-they-or-won’t-they ride, but I enjoyed the forbidden vibes. The audio was good.

Guys!!! This book was an absolute delight to read, I will always be a sucker for a man that is willing to give it all up for love. Hunt did EXACTLY that and more, the epilogue made me so happy.

I loved everything about this book the fact that Leela did not cave into the expectations of others amazed me, she is literally a badass and walked Hunt like a dog and as she should!!

Tbh she walked every existing man in this book that got in her way and my respects to her because she literally ate that up!!

If you loved Anthony and Kate’s season in Bridgerton, I need you to stop what you’re doing and read this book asap 🤭

I cannot wait to read more romances from this author 🙌

I enjoyed this book, and it was a fun ride with Leela and Hunt. I enjoyed reading Leela as a character that wasn't just a damsel in distress. I also loved reading the parts where she was connecting with her Palestinian culture, and the
scene towards the end with her family brought me joy.
Some parts made me role my eyes
like the sugaring part. like, I got it the first time; she's a hairless babe.
