4.26 AVERAGE

Okay so starting this off by saying that I did indeed cry.
This book hurt me a lot. That’s not to say I didn’t have issues with it though; a lot of the issues I have with CoHo’s books are still present. There was cringey humor, the “too perfect” love interest and trauma porn. Although, I will say I did notice less in this book than the others I’ve read. It may have been because I read it in a day but I will give her the benefit of the doubt. Quality wise, maybe this book isn’t a 4/5, but it did make me very emotional and I was very invested in the story and liked how there was no villain. Kenna works as a good main character because she doesn’t hold resentment to anyone— she realizes the complexities of her situation.
One of the best books of hers I’ve read for sure— don’t know if it beats it ends with us though.

CoHo— you may have won this round.

So subpar… need to stop reading Colleen Hoover books fr.

Como siempre la intensidad de la historia y los personajes me mantiene enganchada desde casi la primera página y me hace pasar por miles de emociones y sentimientos a lo largo de los capítulos, otra obra maestra de Colleen Hoover.

Fucking pigeons

**SPOILERS**

This was such a beautifully sad story. make sure you have some tissues! the letters that Kenna writes to Scotty, honestly, I cried every time she got out that pen and paper!!!

I couldn’t imagine blaming and hating yourself for that long. my heart really went out to Kenna. and when Ledger first found out who she was, he was on my shit list, because WHY would he say those things to her!!? my heart..
don’t even get me started on her (bitch) mom. I could never treat my own child like that.. that’s crazy. Scotty’s mom would never… and she didn’t. what an angel. i’m so happy Kenna got her HEA. i’m so glad Scotty’s parents accepted what happened.

I love a HEA
