This is another great read by Karen M. McManus! Overall, I really enjoyed it. I loved the flow of the story and plot. She writes amazing thrillers. I kept second guessing myself and caught myself suspecting almost every character!
From the very beginning, it hooked me. We kept finding out different plot twists and shocking moments. The story kept up until the end. It had such strong potential but I felt the ending could’ve been longer. We were left without a solid answer. I thought it felt rushed unfortunately.
Overall, this is a book I would recommend! It’s definitely fast paced and good for a reading slump. A kickstart into a high school mystery.

Entertaining? for sure. ground breaking? No. It was a tad convoluted even for a mystery book, but I liked the ending so it pays off I guess. The ending was a little out of no where in my opinion but maybe I just wasn’t paying attention which is what every mystery writer wants. And I loved the romance aspect! Truly what got me through the middle of this book when all hope of finishing seemed lost.

The plot was a little convoluted...much like each of her books, but decent enough I tend to enjoy the ride and this was no exception.

This was a pretty great book. My one struggle was I don’t really get why the kids feel so attached to what they did 4 years ago. Like I would just say I did this but I’ve changed. Love the romance and Brynn was great.
