McManus is a queen of YA mystery

4.5

Giving this 4.5 because there is no definitive answer to this who done it.

But with that being said I am truly a Karen McManus fan. She does a great good with keeping readers engaged. There are always a plethora of characters involved in the story but it never feels muddled. I thoroughly enjoy how she continues with a format of bouncing back and forth between characters for narration of chapters.

Also love that all of her stories take place in the same world and get mentioned in other novels.

Title:Nothing More to Tell
Author: Karen M. McManus
Format: ebook ARC via Netgalley

Quick Take: Starting her dream internship at a true-crime show, Brynn becomes determined to solve the murder of her favorite teacher four years earlier and begins to uncover secrets that change everything--and place her in the crosshairs of a killer.

Thoughts: McManus has done it again...taken a classic mystery trope but somehow made it feel fresh and new. I was on the edge of my seat (literally...I fell once) trying to figure out who did it and why. And I was simultaneously shocked but not totally unprepared for the maybe reveal at the end. I wouldn't mind a sequel to this one actually. As a matter of fact, I think I need one! The twists and turns in this one was so good and I absolutely loved Brynn & Tripp! I've read all of McManus's books and can't wait for the next one!

3.75 out of 5.

To be honest, I think this is probably the weakest of Karen's books but I still had a decent time reading it.

The way the mystery started to twist and turn towards the end of the book felt a little rushed and all over the place.

Every author has at least one dud, so hopefully You'll Be The Death of Me and One Of Us Is Back get back into her usual standard.
