I loved this book so much! The character development and the plot were really well done. I read the whole book in 2 days and that's only cause I didn't start it until night. I do wish there was a little more closure at the end with who killed him and what happens with Shane, but it was enough that I wasn't upset about the ending. I also loved the One Of Us Is Lying reference. Overall really good book, I would highly recommend it!

Unlikable characters, I hated the male narrator, the story wasn't that exciting, I think the author tries really hard to make it twisty but it just didn't work for me.
Miss McManus seems to be using the same formula for every novel shes written so far. But its still pretty fun. With an unexpected killer, a crazy twist and a romance I also hate, I think Im gonna continue this trend if reading her books. Also btw it was fun to see little popups of her other novels in this one, gotta love a crossover

Would rate this 5 starts if she wrote a second one lol. I really like the story and the characters. I binged the book in one sitting and have been waiting everyday for it to magically have a sequle
I listened to this one and there was a voice that was just...hard to listen to. So, maybe audiobook isn't the way to go with this one. Aside from that, the storyline was very familiar to me. I feel like I have heard this one before, but I know I haven't. It felt very similar to Pretty Little Liars or Riverdale - and I could see this becoming a series to watch. It's not that it was bad, it was just a bit redundant for me personally. I think this is more geared toward a teen audience and maybe for someone who hasn't read so much thriller/mystery. I guess it just takes a bit more to shock me lately.

I would definitely say that I am a fan of this author, this is a solid mystery which I found hard to put down. It kept me guessing till the end.
