Stylistically, this book just wasn't for me. The writing was very stream of consciousness, which felt a bit too all over the map for me and made it hard to follow the story. I struggled to understand what was going on for most of the book and almost DNFd a few times, but kept going, hoping it would all come together in the end and make sense. Unfortunately, for me, it didn't.
