Huh. Confused/not compelled by the Atlas and Ezra existential conflict and so overall was kind of lost in this.

I think this book wants to be the magicians but it only gets there halfway. Posing the question 'what do you do with absolute power' is very interesting but it works best if you pair if with interesting situations in which that power is needed. Here, basically nothing happens and the most interesting characters are killed. Hm. Let's see what happens next...

Maybe it’s the sleep deprivation but this book was really cooking at the end. I didn’t even like the first one that much.
