I have so much love for this series so I can't give this book any less then 4 stars. It did drag things out at times and the ending didn't hit every note for me (honestly Ioved these books when I was younger and I can't remember A THING anymore) BUT Funke's writing is so beautiful and her characters feel just..alive and real.
