I feel obligated to read this one since I've read the first two books, and I know to myself that even though I'm not a big fan of this series I still have to finish reading it.
I still love the setting, I mean it's dystopian and from my history of book reading I'm always fond of this genre. I love the ideas the writer have. The cover? It was one of the few things I like about these books, they have cool covers. But the characters, they're just too dull, too bland and too boring for my taste. :/
So yeah, still haven’t change my mind about this one. Plus, I was really expecting a bigger and an all out battle between The Society and The Rising. I was left feeling down because it didn't happened.

i was cleaning off my bookshelf and realized i’d never read these books and couldn’t justify getting rid of them without reading them
but i so wish i wouldn’t have read them. i just wasted so many hours. it felt like something i would have written in 6th grade, but even then i think i could’ve done better world building (and more unique… not a The Giver knockoff)

I loved this trilogy, but I think I prefer the first two books to this one - more action and romance. Still a great book
I absolutly loved this book! The series is amazing! I highly recommend it if you haven't read it yet!

I was going to give this book two stars and then I remembered that I gave The Shack two stars. This book is better than The Shack (which isn't saying much, really).
