Say Cheese and Die! is another banger of a Goosebumps book, with a great premise, an interesting cast of characters, and a heck of a set of genuine scares. Stine is in his best form in this novel, having mastered what makes Goosebumps such a great series for children already.
Whether you come along for the killer camera, stick around for the messy lives of Stine's children protagonists, or just want to spook your kids, Say Cheese and Die! is absolutely one of the best Goosebumps books in existence, and it's worthy of all manner of praise. Maybe it's for children, but it's enjoyable for everyone.

I was a little disappointed by this one. I thought it had more potential.

I listened to this on audiobook which was a new experience because I was used to RL Stein and the drawings.
This was a great little story that I’m glad I listened to. I don’t remember if so ever read this one as a kid or not.

I liked it less than the first one. I found it was a bit more emotionless, with all the characters being quite dull.
Still surprisingly gripping though, it’s a fun way to spend your hour.
