I had never heard of this "book" but stumbled upon SEVERAL "bargain" copies at Half Price Books where they were practically paying me to take it off their hands. I didn't since I was able to read it in about 30 seconds.
Where to begin with this one...first, regardless of your feelings about Trump, this book is just petty. It seems like a really weird thing to focus in on, I mean out of all the crazy things Trump has said, this is what you are going to zero in on? From watching this clip it seems like he was just awkwardly making small talk with people. Even Trump supporters would say he has the grace and elegance of a wounded giraffe, so this just seemed like a really weird flex...maybe it was hilarious at the time...but I doubt it.
Second, as a book separate from politics, this sucked. There is nothing smart, witty, creative, or interesting about it. The quality is embarrassing. So in a sense I guess it did a great job capturing the Late Show itself. Can all late night talk shows just die already? (Jon Stewart I miss you....come back, we need you.)

Too short. The novelty is in its existence, not the pages of the book itself. Still, it's tragically hilarious, and the proceeds are money I would have spent on donations anyway, so whatever. And I have yet another keepsake to show the next generation in my attempts to explain just how ridiculous our president was.
Instead of crying, Colbert helps you just laugh (this one time) at the president's words.

Congrats, America, on picking an orange moron who can't articular proper sentences, but at least the proceeds are going to help people thanks to the Staff of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
I wish this was longer...... because it was (unfortunately) hilarious :):):) I also really love that the proceeds go to hurricane relief!
