The one with the greatest characters development yet. Can't get enough of this superb series.

I had almost completed this review yesterday when the Goodreads App shut down on me, losing me all of my progress.
I remember most of what I said previously, but laziness prevents me from waxing lyrical as I did before. However, I still loved this book, and not saying so would do it a disservice. So I’ll be brief.
This book rocks. Any doubts I may have had about Will Wights ability to present a strong narrative beyond the glamour of “cool superpowers” has completely vanished. Every time it begins to look like the main characters are approaching the ceiling of what this world can offer both themselves and the reader, that ceiling shoots upward out of sight.
I love every main character. As they continue to have their personalities, motivations, and true character fleshed put, they continue to become more and more compelling. This extends to their relationships as well. I know for a fact that writing good relationships is not an easy task, and yet Wight makes it look that way(much to my jealousy).
The characters just feel very real to me, despite not being as complex as some might desire in characterization.
Some characters in other books feel like oceans with infinite depths. These characters are more like freshwater lakes. Still holding deep. Still containing mystery. Bound by shores, but potable and sweet and pure. I can’t get enough of them.
I’m more motivated than I’ve been in a while to continue through this series. I might even have to put a hiatus on the book I’m reading now to read Uncrowned; and that’s a heavy statement, because Arm of the Sphinx is also incredible. Hmmmm
