This novella has so much story stuffed into it. Salvatore and Shae are characters that you can fall into. I'm sad that this was only a novella. I'm hoping to read more. I marked this as a cliffhanger, but it's not a cliffy so much as a pause. It's definitely not a dramatic cliffy. Salvatore and Shae have a happy moment. They learn things about themselves in their short time together.

I liked this, I truly did. It was steamy and angsty and dirty. But I would be lying if I didn’t say that I struggled with the cheating storyline. I don’t particularly care for that in my books. (I know this would be a theme going in, so it wasn’t like I was surprised, just more so that I deluded myself thinking that I would be able to look past it. So a me issue, not a book issue). However I’m looking forward to the upcoming books in this series. Interested as to how this cliffhanger pans out.

this was fun, and humorous. i dont think the cheating trope added anything or made it any less exciting? the main female protagonist also felt a little too like, insert-yourself-here, but otherwise totally readable.
