This book is split up into three parts Finny’s, Jack’s, and lastly Autumn’s. I enjoyed seeing other perspectives but I wish we also got Sylvie’s or that we saw more of her in general I felt it would have matched the theme of healing this book has since she has a lot of healing to do herself.

Wasn't as profoundly sad as I was expecting, but had some of what I was looking for. Perfectly enjoyable and interesting book. Ends pretty abruptly but not to a major detriment.

Jesus. Nowlin does it again. I legit cried the whole book. I can't even describe how horrible and amazing this book is. The book is divided into three parts between Finn, Jack, and Autumn. This gives us two additional insights we didn't have in the previous book and the story extends beyond the first book. It was a tad hard to follow in the beginning as I made the mistake of not reading the first book again but I don't feel like i'm missing all that much as it goes on. The chapters are shot enough that I dont feel like it drags but long enough that it feels like every chapter is detailed. I won't spoil it but good lord every bit of this book was so sad I was crying from page 25 till the end. Thank you so much to Laura Nowlin for finishing this series even when you said it was over!

I wish there was an opportunity for a character besides Jack, who wasn’t really focused on, in the first book to express their grief— like Sylvie.

Wonderful book if you are looking for time to spare. I found it good to read for conversation starters or to just ramble about.

I thought that this was a great sequel that might even be better than the first book. Age 14+
