dark mysterious slow-paced

So confusing and weird...i didn't get it. These kids all die from.. What? A coin spell joke gone wrong? Then they are all ressurected, or are they?... And someone they love died after them and before they came back.. Were they sacrificed to restore the teens? What did everyone else think... They seem to ask have a false memory of the teens going to Ireland instead of dying.. But how, and why... Then they spend their new chance at life fumbling with love relationships and sex. I dunno. I was bored and confused by this story and didn't find any redeeming aspects

What a ride. No one is doing weird, intriguing magical realism like Kelly Link and I will read anything of hers I can get my hands on. This one was hefty but after spending over 600 pages with these characters I’m going to miss them!!!!

Okay what do you do when God is capricious, hungry and petty. Three teenages accidentally ruined a magical spell and end up dead. Now they have a chance to fix everything. But who will live and who will die. I listened to the audio version, all 24 hours worth, long but there's a lot of story building and characters developed. And the magic, both scary and whimsical, after all the main characters are all children so they haven't lost their imaginations.
