A quiet, small town epic that tackles big existential themes but through the perspective of just a few people. I loved the writing! My issue was how intentionally slowly paced this was. It was objectively a LONG book and took its time reaching different big moments in the story.

Definitely out of my comfort zone. Moved at a glacial pace but reading was like being in a trance or a dream, I didn't entirely follow every beat, but it was beautiful anyway.

What an entertaining read! I really enjoyed all the characters and the interwoven stories. The ending felt a little too tidy, but overall, a great book if you're looking for a bit of love and magic.

Realized it was too long for my library hood duration left. Interesting concept and writing but it’s a thickum and didn’t have the time for it right now

This book took too long to get to the point. I almost dnf'd but slowly came back to it and finished. Generally I liked the plot and characters but this book could easily be 200 pages shorter. Every 2 chapters it felt like the story stops moving forward. I'm particularly surprised since this author is known for short stories, so you'd think she knows how to be concise but I guess not.
