This book was okay. The writing was fine and the plot was well write also the narrator was okay. The charaters were bit dull and boring but they needed to be flash out more. It was easy and quick read.

I picked this up wanting something light-hearted and easy to read and that's exactly what I got with this. I haven't read any of the other books within this world so wouldn't say that it's essential but you may want to start with the others as the characters do appear in this story. Overall it wasa nice, cosy story that was the perfect outdoor read in the heat we've been having.

The Cornish Cream Tea Wedding - Cressida McLaughlin

Wedding planner Ellie Moon is dreaming up the most beautiful bespoke wedding for Charlie and Daniel, owners of Cornwall’s favourite cream tea bus. Even though her own life has been turned upside down and she’s had to rent out her charming Cornish cottage with its climbing roses and lavender beds, Ellie is determined to give them a day to remember.

I am almost sad that I have caught up with this series, every time I visit Porthgolow it feels like you are being welcomed back. Once again, Cressida has written this book in such a way that it could easily be read as a stand-alone. This series has so far had me hooked as I am really enjoying the way that new characters are added to the town in each book - meaning that whilst the books are all connected there is no need to worry that there will be a lot of repetition.

I am now really looking forward to reading the fifth book in the series that will be releasing shortly.
