I adore SILVER ELITE. I hooked from the get go and I couldn’t put it down. I loved the setting and the concept of the “modified.” I loved the dystopian aspect of the story as well as the fantasy. I felt like the story was The Hunger Games meets Divergent, Graceling, and a little bit of Fourth Wing (no dragons, though).
I loved Wren was a great protagonist and heroine. She reminded me of all my favorite dystopian/fantasy heroines. I loved the chemistry between her and Cross. Their banter was amazing. None of the spicier scenes made me roll my eyes. Francis really knows how to write good kissing scenes! The other characters were also fantastic. Their motives kept me second guessing which side they were on. I’m very much looking forward to reading the second book when it comes out next year.

I devoured this book, but I can't say that I loved it. I think there is something that should be said that I was captivated enough to read it as fast as I did, but I don't think the story is phenomenal.
I figured out the plot twists and mysteries very early on (which is not abnormal for me, but I feel like I figured them out faster with this one).

This was fun! Held my interest, fast paced, fun characters. Very Fourth Wing-esque. I called the mid-book twist within the first few pages though.
