This graphic novel anthology of Horror stories is perfect for the spooky season! I randomly picked this up and was pleasantly surprised by the stories. From an obscure lost film to a strange door in a new home to a strange shop opposite a bus stop, this anthology had a wide range of stories, some shorter than others. I loved how creative the stories were and how there are different kinds of Horror included in the book. The author's art style is also gorgeous and I loved how it varied between the stories and suited their themes.

It was also great to see the inspiration for each story afterwards. I loved discovering why the author had written this specific story and where the idea came from. It added another layer of depth to the book and made me appreciate the stories even more! You could tell that some of them were inspired by the author's own experiences. While I liked some stories more than others, they were all good and the last one provided a chilling end to the novel. It genuinely creeped me out, especially
since I'm not too fond of these chain-mail-type posts where you have to pass something on. In this one, the author breaks the fourth wall and passes on Viola to the reader by putting her calling card in the book. That was such a creative way to spook the reader!

I really liked "Butter Corn Ramen". I love Adam's drawing style but found a lot of the stories predictable.

Have loved Adam's work for years and was excited to support him by purchasing this collection. It was great to revisit stories I had seen started online as well as new ones. Appreciated the notes after each story giving some context on how it came to be. As a millennial many of the elements of the stories struck a chord as they were inspired by classic stories and creepypasta that were popularnfeom my youth until now. Very fun, looking forward to revisiting in the future.
