#4 of the Cyberlove series.
I liked how Beau and Zane were total polar opposites - entertaining to read their "mutual hate" twitter battles and bantering.
Not really a fan of the whole 'Warren' storyline (hence the 3 stars) - thought it took away from Beau and Zane's story and added too much angsty-drama.
Another reviewer noted that this novel was less angsty than Jesse and Ian's story and I don't agree - there was plenty of angst and drama in this story.
And a lot of steamy scenes that definitely made me glad I was not in public reading this book :)
I hope there will be a #5 in the future...maybe with Lyrix?

I loved this! Love Zane and Beau. It was quite the roller coaster. So glad to hear that the series is not over. I wonder who will be next. During Hard Wired I was hoping for a Lyrix story. But maybe it will be Debonair and Miguel.
Something made me want to re-read one of the Cyberlove stories recently, and for some odd reason, I chose Mature Content. The reason I say odd is because on my first read of Mature Content I only gave it three stars, the lowest for the whole series.
However, on re-reading it, I couldn't understand why I had sourced it so low! I quickly found myself wrapped back up in the cyberlove world and enjoyed the focus this novel had on the broader YouTube community. Zane and Beau are both reasonably well-known gay YouTube stars. However, their channels and apparent lifestyles couldn't be more different. When they meet in person, they soon realise they have more in common in the bedroom than first appearances would lead them to believe.
A friend with benefits relationship quickly develops, with Beau trying to convince the more commitmentphobic Zane that a real relationship could be possible. What I loved about Mature Content is that neither Beau or Zane are perfect. Both of them are a little scared of committing, make mistakes and sometimes need their friends to help see them through. Although Beau did mess up, he quickly realised and groveled hard to get his man back.
The only draw-back for Mature Content was the ending. Everything wrapped up a little too quickly and neatly for my likely, but that's the land of romance for you.
Overall I've given Mature Content four stars.

This book really surprised me by how good it was. I mean, it’s filthy, but the romance and humor balanced the smut out perfectly.
I was also really impressed with how spot on a lot of LA Youtuberisms were. The drama, challenges, fan culture—everything was super current.
This is definitely one of the better m-m romances I’ve read; I hope it gets in the hands of more readers.

I loved this!
It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, if your not a fan of online relationships or not a gamer you might not like it.
Also this is a M/M Romance, which I am trash for, no judgement here Beautiful's 😉
This is the only book in the series that I wanted to read. But book OCD made me read the other three first of course.
I really liked what this series stands for, that meaningful relationships can be made online. Each book focuses on a different platform:
1)Video Games
2)Dating/Hookup apps
3)Chats/streaming
4)YouTube
It appealed to my geeky side because when I'm not reading I'm normally playing video games. I have been since I was able to hold a controller.
Sega Megadrive anyone?
This book was my favourite in the series and the characters really appealed to me. I fell head over heels with Zane! Trashy and messy and unashamed of it. He doesn't care about people knowing the details of his sex life. He also likes lace underwear and fishnets, and little light kink.
This was a lot of fun. These authors write really well together. Proper relationships and just the right amount of angst.
I know there will be a bit of a break until we get more from this series but I'm hoping for a bit of Lush and Lyrix.

In the light of recent events, I've decided to remove my rating for this book.
