Another super sweet Fresh Romance compilation! I really enjoyed the second and last stories the most.

Under the Oak Trees by Sally Jane Thompson is sweet and a slow build, as Abby and Chris get to know each other over a work visit. But can a romance work over such a long distance? Abby works in a park, so there's plenty of gorgeous afternoon dappled light and trees. Also, I loved how awkward Abby was - she's clearly very shy with her words but her face gives it away. You catch her with a dreamy smile as she writes in a notebook or thinks about Chris before bed  And Chris is a sweetie as well, I want to see what happens next for them!

The Only One by Cecil Castelluci, Sarah Winifred Searle and Irene Koh melted my heart completely. They effortlessly captured the longing and potential between Eugene and Gigi, across time and space. Also the colour work was subtle and beautiful, indicating which timeline we were in. I cried at the end 💜

The other two stories didn't grab me quite the same way unfortunately. I did love Daysha in One Lucky Bride, I wish we had gotten to spend more time on page with her before the end of the story.

"One Lucky Bride" is silly, sweet & so soft!
"Under the Oak Trees" is a bit too long & drawn out for me. i found myself annoyed w/ Abby.
"Walk It Off" has a slightly faster pace but i want an ending!!!
"The Only One"– child

Byłam zachwycona pierwszym tomem, dlatego kiedy w drugim tomie dostałam same romanse, bez dodatków m.in. fantasy, to stracił on swój smaczek.

It was ok. Mostly a miss for me, though not offensive really. None of the stories grabbed me. I liked the layout and structure of the last one a lot, though the actual tale was hrm.
