read this book if you love
- friends to lovers
- they're both have been in love for years but cannot admit it for the love of god
- found family!!!
- hyperindependent girlboss x calm and "i'll take care of you" bf
- a hot data analyst who can cook amazing Italian food and he knows when you're spiralling
- physical touch and quality time is their primary love language

an ideal way to read it: when you're single af on Christmas eve
a song that reminds me of the couple: lover by taylor swift

this book was so cute!!! it took me so long to read because a stem girly was struggling to finish her textbook readings. on a side note, an added bonus of being a stem girly was that I completely understood Luka's infamous causal analysis and data points explanation, and quite frankly, that was very hot. if Stella said she wouldn't know how to handle Luka in glasses, quite frankly neither would i. Luka is clearly head over heels for Stella but my girl is oblivious and in MAJOR MAJOR denial which was quite frankly a little frustrating to read, but I also understood where she came from. this book reminded me of how delusional Catalina (from the Spanish love deception by Elena Armas) was. like GIRL. obviously, these men agreed to fake date you for a reason!!!
i like that this book showed the real struggles that Stella went through to keep the farm afloat, how she kept her word and didn't share her true problems like a true hyperindependent girlboss. AND LUKA. he just knew when she was anxious or had something on her mind just by looking at her face. I'm melting. her found family at the farm was the cutest part of the book, they all had her back regardless of the struggle she went through, nothing makes my heart warmer than that. AND THE SEQUEL GODDDD I CRIED. i love lula? stelluka? idk their ship name but this book was truly another magical read!

(personally, i am still biased towards my loverboy simp caleb but that's just me.)

Friends-to-lovers has never made me giggle and kick my feet the way this book did.
