This was a sweet book with nice representation and smile-evoking conversations. My only dislike was it got a little bonkers at the end.

I recommend this book from the bottom of my heart. Not because it's particularly well written, but because of the WTF-feeling the plot in the last chapters caused.
Out of the Smythe-Smith -series, Sarah and Hugh were my favorite couple.
Trope:
Spoilerenemies to friends to lovers, forced proximity

TW:
Spoiler homophobia, ableism, discussions of suicide and rape

Can be read as standalone, even though is the third book in the series. I would actually recommend reading this book before the 2nd book in the series: you probably get more out of the plot.

I really enjoyed this. I loved the disability representation but did find the final conflict a bit frustrating and repetitive.

The book was charming and I found both the main characters to be loveable. Reading about them going from "enemies" to then friends, and in the end, lovers was very entertaining (I enjoyed their banter a lot). Overall the book was, like the rest of the series, really good.
