I really enjoy anything that has to do with toys coming to life or "evil" toys in general. So I was excited when I found this book at a used bookstore. Before reading this book, I had only read one other Are You Afraid of the Dark book and didn't like it. I felt like this book was definitely a step up from the other one I had previously read. The Tale of the Terrible Toys felt like it effectively captured the vibe of the TV show for the most part, which was what I was looking for. This was definitely an enjoyable read.
