I loved how the other authors of this edition added notes to explain the importance and history behind certain sections. It's sad to think this book ruined Oscar Wilde's life.

The story itself is very gothic. I'd like to know more about Dorian's exploits but Oscar Wilde was thrown in jail over what he wrote already. There was definitely homoerotic undertones, more subtle than we're used to nowadays since it was illegal.

I enjoyed the story and the additional information added in notes. I'd recommend this edition.
