I've worked in the investing industry for a while and this is the book I wish I had when starting my investment journey. James clearly outlines the "current state of the future", covering trends that have already started to happen and provides some insight into where they might possibly lead further in the future, even going as far as listing companies to look out for relating to each trend. James then goes on to break down important things any new investor should know and any veteran should review: how to value companies, how to read fact sheets and income reports; everything you should know when deciding whether a company is worth investing in or not. And that's just the first half of the book! The rest is just as much a treasure trove of information as the first half.
