Not as great as the first 4 books in the series but it still pulls you in and keeps you in the story until the end.

I loved practically everything about this novel and thought it was a fantastic conclusion to the series. Reese was such a lovable lead character and I enjoyed getting to learn more about Ben and his back story. I loved the development of the relationship between the two of them. There was very low angst which was appreciated but you could really feel both of them fall for each other. They had excellent banter and were extremely entertaining to read. As always I loved getting to revisit the characters from the previous novels and I appreciated how well everything was tied together. This novel tackled some difficult topics but presented them extremely well. The one thing I particularly liked about this novel was that it felt realistic and I could actually buy into the story. The only thing I wish I would have seen was a bit more exploring into the secondary characters particularly Reese's friends and the relationship between her mom and Jack. Despite this, Reese and Ben were so entertaining to read I did not mind getting to explore more of their story. My favourite book in the series and a really great read that reinforced how much I adore K.A. Tucker's work!

Very happy I finally finished this series. Well, almost finished because I totally forgot about the novella! Which I'm going to dive into ASAP.

This was my first KA Tucker listen. Reese & Ben both had terrible pasts. They met randomly in Cancun & it wasn't good. They never thought their paths would cross again. Little did they know that fate would bring them back together. Excellent Narration by Elizabeth Louise & Deacon Lee.
