Loved this collection of short stories that are very cleverly interwoven, all of them moving from seemingly straightforward to dreamlike macabre with effortless skill. A fascinating writer, I definitely want to read more of her work.

This was an incredible read. I loved the way it started somewhat simple and then became increasingly complex and creepy. The stories are interconnected and build on each other. Characters and themes pop up in other stories and the reader gets a new perspective on the original story. I loved how vague the characters were. I don't think we were ever told the name of the main character in any story and the gender and age of the character was often a mystery to me as well. The distance from the characters contributed to the strange, isolated vibe of the collection.
